Tour schedule:

You start your adventures with 4 hours car ride to Saty village. Enjoy steppe valleys and Ile-Alatau mountain views on the way. Visit Kaindy lake after lunch. Have a scenic walk around. Experience village life with traditional dinner, bonfire talks, and banya.

Day 1 with overnight accommodation in a guesthouse

8:00—12:30 transfer Almaty– Saty village

12:30—13:30 lunch

13:30—14:30 transfer to Kaindy lake

14:30—17:30 walk around the lake

17:30—18:30 return to the village

19:00—20:00 dinner

20:00 Free time, evening bonfire, sauna

Make an exclusive hike to Kolsay lake visiting, and the old Soviet shaft on the way (have picnic lunch and walk around the lake). Walk in a beautiful hillside and witness the consequences of the recent mudslide. Take your best photos of the sunset.

Day 2 with overnight accommodation in a guesthouse

08:00 – 09:00 – breakfast

09:00 – 11:30 – transfer to Kolsai 1 (1 house drive, 1,5 hours hike)

11:30 – 13:00 – hike around the lake

13:00-15:00 – picnic/lunch, rest

15:00 – 17:00 – way back to the car

17:00 – 18:00 – walk in a beautiful hillside

18:00-19:00 – transfer to the village

19:00 – 20:00 – dinner

20:00 – free time, evening bonfire, sauna

Start this day with the picturesque car ride to the Castle Valley canyon. Visit Charyn river viewpoints on the way. Have a picnic lunch in the secrete Moon Canyon. Walkthrough the Castle Valley canyon. Visit Bartogay reservoir on the way back to Almaty.

10:00—12:00 transfer to the Moon canyon

12:00—13:00 walk in the canyon

13:00—14:00 picnic lunch

14:00—15:00 transfer to the Castle Valley

15:00—16:00 walk in the canyon

16:00 – 17:30 transfer to Bartogay reservoir, walk around

17:30—20:30 transfer to Almaty
