Almaty to Bishkek Tour Experience

Day 1 – Arrival in Almaty & City Tour

Upon arrival in Almaty, you will be welcomed at the airport and transferred to your hotel.

We will begin the city tour by exploring the historic center of Almaty, including beautiful cathedrals, city squares, parks, and local attractions. In the evening, we will visit Kok Tobe for panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains.

Day 2 – Charyn Canyon & Kolsai Lake

After breakfast, we will drive to Charyn Canyon, often called the Grand Canyon of Central Asia.

Later, we continue to Saty Village for lunch at a local guesthouse. In the afternoon, we will visit Kolsai Lakes, surrounded by forests and alpine scenery.

Day 3 – Border Crossing & Karakol City Tour

After breakfast, we will transfer to the Kegen border crossing and continue into Kyrgyzstan.

Upon arrival in Karakol, we will visit the famous Dungan Mosque, Holy Trinity Cathedral, and Bugu Bazaar.

In the evening, dinner will be hosted by a local Dungan family. Guests may also enjoy an optional folklore music performance.

Day 4 – Altyn Arashan & Jeti Oguz Valley

Today we continue the Almaty to Bishkek tour with an adventure to Altyn Arashan by Soviet-style UAZ vehicle.

Guests will enjoy natural mineral hot springs surrounded by mountain landscapes. Afterwards, we transfer to Jeti-Oguz Valley, famous for its red rock formations and nomadic scenery.

In winter season, Altyn Arashan may be replaced with a ski resort visit.

Day 5 – Jeti Oguz, Barskoon & Skazka Canyon

After breakfast, we will explore Jeti Oguz Valley, including the famous Broken Heart rock and Maiden’s Braid waterfall.

Next, we visit Barskoon Gorge and see the Yuri Gagarin monument. Afterwards, we continue to Skazka Canyon, known for colorful rock formations shaped by nature.

In the evening, arrival at Kaji Say village on the shore of Issyk-Kul Lake.

Day 6 – Eagle Hunting, Yurt Assembly & Bishkek

After breakfast, we visit Bokonbaevo village for a traditional eagle hunting demonstration.

Later, we continue to Kizil Tuu village, where a local family will demonstrate traditional yurt assembly while serving lunch.

On the way to Bishkek, we will stop at Burana Tower, an important Silk Road monument from the Karakhanid Empire.
