Adventure Tour Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Almaty & City Tour

Arrival at Almaty and transfer to the hotel.

After check-in, we begin our city exploration around Almaty. During the tour, guests will discover the historic center, beautiful cathedrals, parks, and lively city streets.

Later, we visit Kok Tobe Hill for panoramic views over the city and surrounding mountains.

Charyn Canyon & Kolsai Lakes

Day 2 – Charyn Canyon & Saty Village

After breakfast, we travel toward Charyn Canyon, often called the Grand Canyon of Central Asia.

Guests will explore dramatic rock formations and enjoy photography opportunities surrounded by spectacular landscapes.

Later, we continue toward Saty Village for lunch at a local guesthouse.

In the afternoon, we visit the first of the beautiful Kolsai Lakes surrounded by pine forests and mountain scenery.

Kaindy Lake Adventure

Day 3 – Kaindy Lake

After breakfast, we continue toward Kaindy Lake.

The lake is famous for its submerged forest, turquoise water, and magical alpine atmosphere. Guests will have time for hiking, photography, and enjoying the peaceful scenery.

Later, return to Saty Village for overnight stay.

Border Crossing & Karakol City Tour

Day 4 – Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan

After breakfast, we drive toward the Kegen border crossing between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

Following the border crossing on foot, we continue toward Karakol.

During the city tour, guests will visit:

  • Dungan Mosque
  • Holy Trinity Cathedral
  • Bugu Bazaar

In the evening, dinner with a local Dungan family accompanied by a traditional folklore performance.

Altyn-Arashan & Jeti-Oguz Valley

Day 5 – Mountain Adventure & Hot Springs

Today we begin an off-road adventure toward Altyn-Arashan Gorge using legendary Soviet UAZ vehicles.

Upon arrival, guests will hike toward natural hot springs and enjoy a relaxing bath surrounded by alpine mountains.

Lunch will be served at a traditional yurt camp.

Later, we return toward Karakol and continue to Jeti-Oguz Gorge, famous for red rock formations and mountain scenery.

Barskoon Gorge & Skazka Canyon

Day 6 – Jeti-Oguz & Issyk-Kul South Shore

After breakfast, we explore Jeti-Oguz Valley and visit:

  • Broken Heart rock formation
  • Seven Bulls rocks
  • Maiden’s Braid Waterfall

Guests may choose hiking or horseback riding according to preference.

Later, we continue toward Barskoon Gorge and hike to one of the waterfalls while visiting the Yuri Gagarin monument.

After lunch at a yurt café, we explore Skazka Canyon before continuing toward Kaji-Say village near Issyk-Kul Lake.

Eagle Hunting & Yurt Assembly Traditions

Day 7 – Cultural Experiences & Bishkek

After breakfast, we continue toward Bishkek.

Along the route, we visit:

  • Bokonbaevo village for an eagle hunting demonstration
  • Kyzyl-Tuu village for a yurt assembly experience and lunch with a local family
  • Burana Tower

Finally, arrival in Bishkek for farewell dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8 – Departure

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for departure.
